26th Feb - UP YOUR YOGA GAME BY DOING A WORKSHOP TO DEEPEN YOUR PRACTICE AND LEARN NEW SKILLS
I remember distinctly the day I got the yoga buzz - it was in Ennis at a Richard Agar Ward workshop - he referred to the hands in a way I never even thought of and my whole pose changed, my mind went calm - just by his cue to extend the nail of the middle finger - incredible - I’ve been hooked ever since. (Try that cue next time you are in a standing pose.)
Yoga classes are great but there’s only so much you can do in an hour - in a workshop you can go so deep - you are in a yoga bath or should I say yoga hot tub. You don’t want to get out. You want to stay in and get really wrinkly.
To that end I am teaching a workshop in Clarinbridge, Co Galway on 26th February, from 10 am to 5 pm. The style is my own - a mix of 25 years of Iyengar training, somatic movements, anatomy lessons, experience with plenty of fun and relaxation too. If you are considering doing my Yoga Teacher Training in September 2022, this would be a perfect opportunity to see if what I do is what you want. For more info on teacher training click here
Blessed with a great cafe behind the studio - Poppy Seed - we will have a light lunch and plenty of great coffee ( included in price) . The price is 100 euros plus vat - I promise that you will leave with your middle finger nail well and truly extended. I’m look forward to it already.
The workshop is probably not the best place for a total beginner - you don’t want to over do it. If you have done a year of yoga ever in your life you’ll be grand. If you are not sure give me a call. There is no need for you to have been a previous student of mine at all.
