Meet Gabrielle

Gabrielle has been practicing yoga for 15 years and trained as a teacher in Ubud in Bali in 2018. She came to yoga as a way to disconnect from stress and reconnect with herself and has adapted her practice to the twists and turns of life since then, incorporating a regular meditation practice along the way.

In 2021, having taught vinyasa flow for three years - both in person and online - Gabrielle completed her yin yoga teacher training, which is the practice she will bring to the Yoga Lounge.

Yin is a slow practice where we hold poses for 3-5 minutes supported by props and blankets. It is a personal, introspective practice where we aim to use props to stretch target areas, rather than look a certain way. No prior experience of yoga is necessary. No specific level of fitness is necessary.

This is a safe space to allow you to connect with your body and mind. We will finish class with a short meditation to allow us to reflect on our practice.

This practice is accessible to people of all ages and is beneficial to you, whether you run, swim, train or play no sports at all. Yin yoga is for everyone!
